We are very pleased that you are interested in applying for the role of Director of Member Services and Engagement with the NLA.  We are the UK’s largest association for private-residential landlords. We work with all kinds of landlords, from those who are fulltime with large property portfolios to those with just a single letting.

This is an exciting time for the NLA. In Spring 2017 we agreed an ambitious 3-year Corporate Strategy to enable us to become the undisputed brand leader membership organisation for private-residential landlords. This means achieving a significant increase in our membership, and developing into a truly member-centric organisation through an enhanced offer to our existing members.

To support this strategy, we are looking to recruit a new Director of Member Services & Engagement to join a small, newly established Senior Management Team. Reporting to me as Chief Executive, the successful candidate will play a vital role in leading the NLA’s work in developing and driving delivery of a member engagement strategy, delivery plan and enhanced member services offer to new and potential members, from a commercial perspective.

The person we are looking for will need to have a strong commercial background, strong people management and leadership track record and a background in a membership or customer-service organisation. They will also be a great team player and comfortable working in a project focused delivery environment.

It’s vital that this person has an excellent understanding of strategies and approaches to grow membership and constantly develops the membership offer, along with a proven record of leading and delivering change projects and programmes to completion and benefits realisation, including cultural change programmes.
