Hampton Fund is delighted to announce the appointment of our new CEO, Richard Barron.

Richard has significant experience of senior management in the charity sector and will join us from children’s charity Buttle UK, where he is Director of Fundraising and Marketing. He will take up his role at Hampton Fund on the 4th December, marking the start of a new chapter for the charity.

Richard says: “I am thrilled to be joining Hampton Fund. There is such an important role for local funders in helping to tackle need and build stronger communities and so I am excited to start working with staff and trustees to develop and deliver our individual and community grants programme. As a local resident I will relish the opportunity to give something back to a community that has been so good to me and my family.”

Martin Seymour Hampton Fund Chair of Trustees says: “We are delighted to welcome Richard to lead the Hampton Fund team after a long and robust recruitment process. He brings considerable experience of grant giving, working with trustees and building positive relationships. We all look forward to working with him to provide ever greater benefit to the area.”

Richard will lead the growth and strategic development of Hampton Fund and there will be opportunities for our partners to meet with him throughout 2024.
