We are locally based and provide services in nearly 250 towns and villages to help older people live well and remain independent in their own homes for longer. Although a Brand Partner of (national) Age UK, we are an independent charity and our funding comes primarily from local sources in a highly competitive area. You will be a key member of the management team, report to the Deputy CEO, and be responsible for a strategy that delivers income from a range of sources, including corporates, bids, trusts and foundations, and events. You will keep me and the Board up to date with your plans and successes.
We are therefore looking for an experienced and successful fundraiser who enjoys delivering against ambitious targets and looks for income from a wide range of sources. You will need excellent people skills. You will also need to be able to lead and develop staff and volunteers, act as an ambassador, inspire potential funders, and engage all staff in the fundraising challenge.
