Today is World Mental Health Day. The theme for 2023, set by the World Foundation of Mental Health, is ‘Mental health is a universal human right’. Look after your own mental health but also check others around you are doing ok too. It can take just a few seconds to make a big difference. Be kind. Every day is mental health awareness day.

World Menopause Day is held every year on the 18th of October and aims to raise awareness of the menopause and support options available for improving health and wellbeing. The menopause is a key workplace issue and organisations should be creating more menopause-friendly workplaces to ensure that all those experiencing the menopause transition have the support they need and the opportunity to thrive in workplaces and in society as a whole. Hampton Fund were delighted to announce the appointment of their new CEO, Richard Barron. Richard has significant experience of senior management in the charity sector and will join Hampton Fund from children’s charity Buttle UK, where he is Director of Fundraising and Marketing. He will take up his role at Hampton Fund on the 4th December, marking the start of a new chapter for the charity. Thewlis Graham Associates were delighted to support Hampton Fund with this appointment. We wish Richard Barron well in the new role.
